Early this year, bushfires raged across the NSW South Coast, followed by floods. Then along came COVID19 causing a world of pain for artists, with some galleries opening by appointment only.
‘But the situation will improve,’ says the Arts in the Valley visual arts director, Gary Moore. ‘So we are forging ahead with Visual Arts in the Valley 2020 including the $6,000 Kangaroo Valley Art Prize (total prize money $10,000). Something to look forward to. Something to celebrate.’
