Poetry and Place Tour of Southern Tablelands and Highlands Libraries

9-15 November 2010

Published, award-winning, known and new, Jane Baker (Yass), Margaret Berry (Boorowa), Nicola Bowery (Reidsdale), Russell Erwin (Bannister), Harry Laing (Reidsdale), Robyn Lance (Goulburn), Elizabeth Lawson (Queanbeyan), Lizz Murphy (Binalong) and Mark Tredinnick (Burradoo) are just some of the poets living in the Southern Tablelands and Highlands. They are touring the region’s libraries, November 9-15.

Poetry and Place is part of a larger poetry as public art project – hear more about Poetry: The Indelible Stencil from coordinator Lizz Murphy and STARTS Regional Arts Development Officer Elizabeth Brown. Poetry: The Indelible Stencil is supported by the NSW Regional Arts Fund an Australian Government initiative and delivered in partnership with the Country Arts Support Program (CASP), STARTS and the Boorowa, Goulburn-Mulwaree, Palerang, Queanbeyan, Upper Lachlan, Wingecarribee, Wollondilly, Yass Valley Local Governments and Project Coordinator Lizz Murphy. Thank you also to the region’s libraries.
