Can you believe the the South Coast’s Food of Love a cappella choir is 10 yrs old?
To celebrate the 10th anniversary, Food of Love is presenting a concert on Saturday November 22 at 7.30pm in the Nowra School of Arts. Past members of the choir are invited to sing in the concert and to prepare for the performance there will be a workshop on the afternoon of the concert.
Anyone who has participated in the choir or in a workshop with Joy in the past (or those who wish they had) in invited to the workshop from 2pm to 5pm at the School of Arts. We will rehearse four of our favourite songs, which the whole group will perform as part of the concert.
The concert will feature some pop and folk favourites, traditional Celtic, African and gospel songs and a couple of Christmas carols. The choir will be joined by Trilogy (Joy, Kathy and Robin Sharpe) for the finale of the concert. Brad Williams and Gary de Wall will also be guest artists .
The cost to participate in the workshop and concert is $10 which is the same as the cost for a ticket to the concert, so why not be part of our giant audience participation?
If you would like to sing in the workshop and then join the choir on stage for the concert please joysharpe@optusnet.com.au. If you would like to come to the concert , tickets will be available at the door from 7pm on Saturday Nov 22nd.
