Set on the shores of beautiful Lake Macquarie, the Dobell Art Festival, (named in honour of Wangi Wangi’s most famous resident – William Dobell), has earned itself recognition as the area’s premier arts and crafts festival. The festival has been promoting local art and craft for many years and this year will be displaying a new, vibrant face with market stalls, vintage car displays and live entertainment!
There will be original works by local artists as well as quality craft, including woodcraft, pottery, jewellery and china. There a chance to buy someone an unusual gift, enjoy a great coffee and be entertained in beautiful surrounds. This is a great way to soak up the autumn sun and enjoy a relaxing weekend with family and friends.
